Part 1.4

        The prince had used up all of his strength, and he felt like he was going to vomit blood at any moment. He hadn’t eaten, drunk, or rested for two days now.

        Still, his hands tingled and he found strength in his fingertips. He had to protect. Not himself, but his father.

Prince : ( … I can do it. I’ve done it once. So I can do it twice…! If I focus all my energy and create a bigger shield…)

Angels : It’s no use.

Prince : …..!!

        From between his prostrate father’s armpits, red,  ghastly eyes at the prince and smirked.

        They were the self-destructing angels, who had folded their wings and dropped to the ground like vermin as they crawled around Mammon.

        They circled around Mammon and threw themselves on top of him, building a wall of their own bodies.

        Finally, a dome of angel bodies formed over Mammon’s body. It was their soon-to-be-exploded tomb, as well as the tomb of Mammon and the prince trapped inside.

Kiii-!!!

        As the last of the angels finally laid down on Mammon’s back, all eyes glowed ominously in unison, and…

BOOOOOM…!!!

        Far, far away, an explosion so loud it could be seen from the royal palace, engulfed a small village.

        It blew up and killed all the angels, even those who had flown low enough to catch a glimpse of Mammon’s final moments.

….…..

        A cloud of dust rose from what had been a deep pit, denser than anything that had been there before.

Flap-

        A giant shadow loomed over the dust cloud. It was Metatron.
