HUGO & JAY MONTONN LIVE @ HARD ROCK CAFE PATTAYA on 14 JUNE 2014

Today, 43 years ago in London, is the day the first Hard Rock Cafe was found and tonight we are going to celebrate it in Hard Rock style and of course, music will be a part of it.  Hard Rock Café Pattaya presents Hugo Chulachak Chakrabongse live on on Hard Rock Founders’ Day on 14 June 2014.  Jay Montonn Jira joins in as a guest.

After a great show at Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya in 2012, he is back, now with Jay Montonn.  From being a Thai teen idol to the first Thai solo artist signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, Hugo is a dedicated songwriter, musician and performer and is best known for his bluegrass cover of Jay-Z’s ’99 Problems”. His artistic career has started since his young teen as a songwriter, lead vocal and guitarist in the band, Siplor in 2001. He gained international recognition with ‘Disappear’ - the song he wrote, which was later added onto Beyonce’s album ‘I am..Sassha Fierce’.  He has recently worked on various projects including producing music for TV program with Jay Montonn, being music director for a well-known artist like Palmy.

Montonn will be joining him on Hard Rock Cafe stage on this special night. He is a producer, arranger, engineer, musician, DJ and he is best-known for his multi-genre crossing productions and forward thinking performances.

To celebrate the Founders’ Day, on 10th June, Hard Rock Pattaya staff and management will be going on ‘Rock the Lunch’ at Baan Amphur Primary School to provide students with quality lunch. The schools which have a limited budget for children’s meals were selected and we will prepare and serve them lunch. Our own rockers put on some entertainment during this time, and the children all have fun, and leave energized. This initiative is implemented on a monthly basis.

On 12th June, the Team will go to Khao Chi-On Non Hunting Area in Sattahip District, Chonburi in order to plant Hairy-Leafed Apitong or Yang Na, Padauk, Siamese Rosewood and Bullet Wood trees in this area, in order to rehabilitate the wasteland. This project was initiated last year and in order to keep this environment sustainable, we plan to constitute the healthy condition of the forest and create sustainability.
